Dahisar is located in North Mumbai and is bound by the scenic hills of National Park on the eastern side and the inlet of Manori creek and saltpans on the western side. Dahisar is the final suburb and train station in the Mumbai Suburban District, and it is situated on the city limits of Mumbai. Roadways have gotten larger and smoother, and the pedestrian pathways have been improved. India’s most famous amusement park, Essel World, is only 22 km (about an hour's drive) away via Uttan Road from Dahisar.
