Nandi Hills

It is also known as Nandidurg and has an elevation of approximately 1400 meters. The hill station was developed in the 11th Century by the Ganga Dynasty.

The hills are home to some of the retreat spots of Tipu Sultan, such as the Tipu Sultan Fort and Tipu's Drop, religious sites such as the Yoga Nandeeshwara Temple and Jama Masjid Sultanpet, and numerous trek points and viewpoints.

It is also known as Lal Bagh and is a 240-acre garden. The rulers of Mysore - Haider Ali and his son Tipu Sultan developed this garden in the 18th century, and in 1856 was designated as a government botanical garden.

The plantation of rare species of flowers and plants from overseas, the aesthetic setups of pools, fountains, and lawns, an ancient rock formation known as the Lal Bagh Rock, the palatial Glass House, the KempeGowda Tower, and the Lal Bagh Lake are some of the features of Lal Bagh.

Bangalore Palace

Built in 1887 by the 23rd King of Mysore Chamrajendra Wadiyar, the Bangalore Palace is a Tudor-Spanish Gothic-style structure inspired by the notable palaces of England, including Windsor Castle, which housed the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Cubbon Park

The Lungs of Central Bengaluru, Cubbon Park is a green land of 100 acres. Also known as Sri Charmarajendra Park in memory of the 23rd Mysore King Wadiyar, the earlier names of the Park were Meade's, followed by Cubbon, deriving from the then-Commissioners Sir John Meade and Sir Mark Cubbon, respectively.

Cubbon Park is a unique embodiment of native & exotic plant species, monuments, lakes, motorable roads, and walkable paths. The Gothic-styled Attara Kacheri (principal bench of the Karnataka High Court), the classic European-styled Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall, and St. Mark's Church are some veteran structures in and around the park.

ISKCON Temple

One of the largest Hindu temples globally, the ISKCON Temple is devoted to the deities Radha-Krishna. Inaugurated in May 1997, this temple is known for its active involvement in free food distribution and mid-day meal programme via its NGO Akshay Patra in 11 states of India.

This temple dwells six shrines dedicated to Radha-Krishna, the avatars, saints, and disciples of Radha-Krishna, of which one is Srila Prabhupada, the founding father of the ISKCON Temple. The Gold-plated Dhwaja-Stambha and Kalash-Shikhara are some of the features of this temple.
