One of the most important and popular destinations of Palghar district is Nalasopara, Nala Sopara, formerly known as Sopara, is a town within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The town is governed by Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation (VVMC). Nallasopara railway station is part of the Western Railway Zone.
