Few Vastu tips for flat

1) As per Vastu Shastra, the land where the apartment or flat is constructed should not be in an irregular form like hexagonal or triangle. The flat should be constructed in a rectangular or square-shaped land.

2)Vastu tells us that a flat having North, East or North-West entrance brings happiness to residents.

3) When one decides to paint their flats, they should avoid using colours like red, black or sky blue.

4) The bathroom door should not be facing the kitchen or dining hall and the bathroom drains should always flow in the north-east direction.

5) The room for children should be constructed in the northwest corner.

6) Vastu Shastra recommends that Puja room should be located in the North or East direction.

7) In the kitchen,the stove should be placed in the East direction.

8) The study room should be adjacent to the pooja room as it is considered to be auspicious.

9) Windows should be on the northern and eastern sides of the buildings.

10) East and North-East are the best directions to have the entrance.

In an already constructed flat, there might be some defects however with these Vaastu tips one can easily rectify the mistakes to make the house more Vastu ready. However, these tips will immensely help people who are looking to buy under-construction or soon-to-be constructed flats.
