National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) is an autonomous self-governing body formed in 1998, under the protection of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India. The purpose of its establishment was to monitor and promote ethical trade practices in the ‘highly’ unorganised real-estate sector in India. It also serves as a platform for discussions amongst the state, developers and the members of the public.
