NAREDCO estimates an investment worth $4.3 bn is needed to satisfy India's growing demand in student and professional micro-housing. By 2022, the concerned sector is due to grow exponentially, says Meraqi, which could be about 2.31 million housing units when putting in numbers.

There has already been a steep rise in investment pouring in this sector, many large conglomerates have employed thousands of crores as they certainly see it as the next big thing.
