Bengaluru, which is one of the fastest growing residential markets, is seeing a premium senior living community in Budigere. Serene Communities, India's leading senior living brands and Gardencity Realty Pvt. Ltd have tied up to jointly develop a senior living project.
This project has a saleable area of around 3 lakh sq ft and a Gross Development Value (GDV) of about Rs. 300 crore, making Serene Communities expand its footprint for senior living projects.
With the launch of this senior living project in Budigere, Serene Communities aims to broaden its national expansion strategy. The company has 11 new projects under development with its cumulative investment of Rs. 2,500 crore, adding 3,000 senior living homes under its current portfolio of 1,700 operational homes.
In the next three to five years, the company expects to invest around Rs. 500 crore for senior living development projects in Bengaluru itself. Due to its growing presence in the retirement housing projects, Serene Communities is focusing on broadening its portfolio for premium senior living developments.
