Here's how you can utilize shoe boxes to make attractive shelves

Begin by covering the shoe box with a coloured sheet of paper. Alternatively, you can spray paint the box for a better finish and for removing any logos on it.

Once dry, attach the box to the wall using screws or nails. It would be better to fix nails/screws on both sides of the box. Hanging the box vertically will make it sturdier.

You can paste paper motifs or other decorations over the marks of the nail/screw to cover them.

Your shelves are now ready to display light-weight decors.

If you're worried that the objects are too heavy, attach cardboard or a slab of wood under the box.
