Take an old pen and remove its ink cartridge.

Cap the pen at the bottom so that is top end is left open.

Fill the pen with water.

Place a thin-stemmed flower of your choice in the pen.

You can place this flower vase in your pencil stands to add life to the otherwise ordinary stationary.
