Bengaluru's real estate landscape is known for its residential and commercial depth, but a new chapter is being written on its industrial front. Brigade Group, one of the city's most established developers, has made its foray into industrial real estate with the launch of Brigade Industrial Park in Devanahalli, North Bengaluru. The 25-acre development marks a significant strategic shift for the four-decade-old company, as it looks to diversify beyond its traditional segments and tap into the fast-growing demand for high-spec industrial infrastructure.
Brigade Industrial Park is a 25-acre development located within the Hi-Tech, Defence and Aerospace Park (Phase I) near Kempegowda International Airport in North Bengaluru. The project, announced through a regulatory filing on March 10, will offer approximately 2 million square feet of leasable space.
The park has been designed to cater to high-growth sectors including aerospace and defence, IT/ITES, and data centres, industries that demand specialised, future-ready infrastructure.
For Brigade Group, this launch represents more than just a new project. It is a deliberate expansion of its real estate portfolio into a segment the company is now entering with clear intent.
Amar Mysore, Executive Director, Brigade Enterprises Ltd, said the launch reflects the company's intent to expand across multiple real estate segments. Mysore said the company plans to build high-spec, future-ready infrastructure tailored to the needs of sectors such as aerospace, defence, IT/ITES and data centres, drawing on its four decades of real estate experience. He added that Brigade Industrial Park is expected to drive innovation and sustainable growth, while reinforcing Bengaluru's standing as a global centre of excellence.
Beyond scale and sectoral focus, Brigade Industrial Park will incorporate sustainability-focused design aimed at improving operational efficiency. The project will feature energy-efficient buildings, reflecting the growing emphasis among industrial occupiers on green and responsible infrastructure.
