Actor Shraddha Kapoor has renewed the lease for her apartment in Mumbai's Juhu locality for another year, agreeing to a monthly rent of ₹6 lakh. As per property registration documents, the actress has paid the full annual rent of ₹72 lakh upfront.
Renewal agreement's registration date was February 25, 2026. The apartment is located in the Prime Beach residential building in Juhu and measures approximately 365 square metres, equivalent to around 3,929 square feet.
The leave-and-license agreement is for a tenure of 12 months. The cumulative rental value for the full term stands at ₹72 lakh. The transaction involved a stamp duty of ₹36,000 and registration charges of ₹1,000.
Along with the apartment, the agreement provides access to four basement parking spaces within the building.
The documents further state that in the event of payment default, interest at 18% per annum, compounded quarterly, would apply from the due date until realisation.
Notably, despite rising rental values across Mumbai's premium neighbourhoods, the renewed rent remains unchanged from the earlier agreement.
Shraddha Kapoor's lease renewal highlights the continued strength of Mumbai's premium rental market, particularly in established micro-markets like Juhu. While rentals across the city have seen upward movement, high-value transactions in prime neighbourhoods continue to reflect stability and sustained demand for well-located, spacious residences.
