Areas like Ghodbunder Road, Majiwada and Kasarvadavali are in prime demand and also, the Eastern Freeway or Expressway is a prime asset realty in Thane, as it is a terminus road giving a direct access to the southern tip of Mumbai near the CST. Thane, now, is known on its own as a bustling metropolis and compliments Mumbai on many fronts.

Well-built highways and flyovers have made commuting within and around Thane an easy task. Eastern Express Highway connects the area to South Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Latest widening of the Ghodbunder Road has enabled smooth connectivity to Dahisar and Borivali. There are also BEST buses that ply commuters from Thane to different areas of Mumbai. Thane West is within close proximity to NH-3 and NH-4.
