Abhishek Bachchan has sold a luxury duplex apartment with a total carpet area of 2,249 sq ft in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai, for ₹14.5 crore, as per the property registration documents. The price of the duplex apartment was at a rate of ₹64,473 per sq ft. The apartment is bought by a partner at Bain Capital Private Equity, Rishi Mandawat and Smita Mehta.

• The duplex apartment is located at Godrej Planet on the 40th and 41st floors in Tower 4 (Strata).
• The deal, which was registered on February 12, also included three car parking spaces, according to the documents.
• Godrej Planet, a luxury residential project, has apartment configurations of 2BHK, 3BHK and 5BHK units with more than 300 residences developed across five towers.
