


A travel and tourism company EaseMyTrip's CEO and co-founder, Rikant Pittie, made a purchase of an apartment in Andheri, Mumbai, for ₹15.9 crore. Considered as one of the largest transactions in the western suburbs, the apartment is sold at a price of more than ₹70,000 sq ft on a carpet basis, as per the property registration documents.
In November 2023, Rikant Pittie had purchased a commercial property for ₹99.34 crore. Located in Gurugram's Sector 32, the size of the total land area is 43,594 sq ft, whereas its total built-up area is 1,00,429 sq ft. He paid a stamp duty of ₹6.95 crore for the transaction, which was registered on November 24, 2023.
According to the property registration documents, Oberoi Realty sold an 8,570 sq ft penthouse to Kapila Arora, the promoter of a manufacturing company. The penthouse is located in Goregaon East on the Western Express Highway (WEH) in Oberoi Elysian's 62nd, 63rd and 64th floors.
Kapila Arora purchased the property for ₹55 crore and paid a stamp duty of ₹2.77 crore and ₹30,000 for registration fee, making it one of the largest transactions in the western suburbs. The transaction which was registered on February 18, 2026, also mentions the purchase of six parking spaces.
Rikant Pittie's record-breaking property purchase highlights the growing demand for luxury real estate among India's new-age entrepreneurs, setting a new benchmark for the Mumbai Western Suburbs. This acquisition, along with the recent ₹55 crore penthouse purchase in Goregaon, demonstrates that high-end demand now extends beyond traditional hubs like South Bombay and Bandra.
