Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have bought five acres of land for ₹37.86 crore in Alibaug, near Mumbai, as per the property registration documents. Being the couple's second land purchase in Alibaug in the last four years, involving 1.474 hectares and 0,627 hectares of land parcels.

• Located in Zirad village, near Awas Beach in Alibaug, in Raigad District, these two land parcels were purchased for a total value of ₹37.86 crore on January 13, 2026.
• According to the documents, the transaction involved a stamp duty payment of ₹2.27 crore and a registration fee of ₹30,000.
• The property documents further recorded that the area of the first plot is 14,740 square meters, whereas that of the second plot is 6,270 square metres, which comes to a total of 21,010 square meters.
• Sonali Amit Rajput is the seller in this transaction, but the confirming party listed is Samira Land Assets Private Limited, as per the documents.

• Four years ago, the couple had purchased an 8-acre plot in Alibaug worth ₹19.24 crore through two separate deals.
• Now constructed into a luxury vacation home, it features several amenities such as a temperature-controlled pool, jacuzzi, kitchen, four bathrooms, garden, parking space and staff quarters.
• The land was purchased from the real estate developer Samira Habitats.

4. In 2023, Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, purchased a 1.5-acre property with three houses for ₹12.91 crore, which is located in Thal village.

5. Rohit Sharma, fellow Indian cricket captain, purchased a 4-acre plot in Alibaug. He bought the plot in his wife, Ritika Sajdeh's name, in 2021.
