




Arkade Developers Ltd, one of the listed Mumbai-based real estate developers, has announced plans to launch five residential projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) this year. The total expected gross development value (GDV) is over ₹3,700 crore for the calendar year 2026.
The company will invest around ₹2,500 crore across the five residential projects located in key areas such as Goregaon, Thane, Borivali, Malad, and Santacruz.
Homebuyer confidence is steadily rising, driven by the downward trend in the repo rate and more affordable home loan monthly payments. According to the company, this favorable market condition of lower borrowing expenses along with the new project launches strengthens Arkade Developers' appeal to homebuyers and those seeking long-term investments.
The company further noted that the real estate sector's positive prospects are supported by the current easing of interest rates. Due to these favourable factors, the company aims to deliver premium residential projects while ensuring long-term benefits for the stakeholders.
Filmistan Studio, established in 1943 by Sasadhar Mukherjee, the grandfather of actor Kajol, is spread over four acres. In July 2025, Arkade Developers announced its plans to develop luxury apartments on the site of Filmistan Studio in Goregaon in the fourth quarter of the next financial year.
The company is planning to launch an ultra-luxury residential project, featuring two high-rise towers of 50 storeys each with apartment configurations ranging from 3BHK to 5BHK units and exclusive penthouses. Furthermore, this luxury project has an estimated development potential of ₹3,000 crore.
In June 2025, Arkade Developers had announced its acquisition of a 6.28-acre land parcel for ₹172 crore in Thane near Mumbai. With a RERA saleable area of 9.26 lakh sq ft, the company is planning to create a mixed-use development with a projected GDV of ₹2,000 crore.
Located in Thane's Kasarvadavali off Ghodbunder Road, the project offers seamless connectivity through Ghodbunder Road and the Eastern Express Highway, according to the company. It will feature apartment configurations ranging from 2BHK to 4BHK units as well as retail and commercial spaces.
The company's focus is to continue toward a strong and remarkable expansion in the MMR. Amit Jain, the Chairman and Managing Director of Arkade Developers Ltd, said that they aim to deliver premium, high-quality residential projects due to the healthy pipeline continuing into 2026.
Amit Jain also stated that in this quarter, the firm is targeting two additional Occupation Certificates which confirms their commitment to before-time project completion. With the plans to launch five residential projects and their combined projected GDV of more than ₹3,700 crore, the company said that it is an attractive proposition for both homebuyers and investors.
