As per the new Development Plan 2034, the cluster redevelopment scheme (CDS) has been extended to Mumbai suburbs.
CDS is a scheme for the redevelopment of a cluster of buildings and structures. The minimum requirement of the area to come under this scheme was 4,000 sq. m in Mumbai, which has now been extended to 10,000 sq. m for Mumbai suburbs.
As per experts who spoke to DNA, the move is a positive one and shall be speedier if more incentive is given to existing tenants.
