Welspun One, a warehousing and industrial real estate platform, announced that it plans to develop a 1.2 million sq ft Grade A logistics park in Talegaon, Pune, by investing ₹550 crore. The company has been allotted a MIDC-notified land parcel of 46 acres for the project.
Located in Pune's Talegaon MIDC Phase IV, it is strategically situated in the Talegaon-Chakan belt. The company further said that this land parcel is designed to develop a Grade-A first-mile logistics asset to connect the goods from factories to fulfillment and distribution networks.
In 2025, Pune recorded approximately 7.4 million sq ft of warehouse leasing as compared to previous year's 6.8 million sq ft during the same period, which saw 10 percent growth this year. Out of this, almost 70 percent of this activity was from the Talegaon-Chakan belt, highlighting the corridor's significance to be one of the preferred warehousing locations.
Welspun One has a development pipeline of around 19 million sq ft and ₹10,000 crore in assets under management with focus to expand their footprint in India's major logistics hubs. With the company's previous transactions with Hoskote and Devanahalli in Bengaluru as well as with the World Trade Centre, it continues to strengthen its presence further in Talegaon, Pune. Welspun One's strategic entry in Pune, one of Maharashtra's effective industrial areas, reflects the company's objective to contribute to the country's growth.
