Quest Coworks Private Limited, a flexible workspace operator, has acquired an office space of 57,500 sq ft in Andheri East, Mumbai. The firm bought the workspace from Capgemini Technology Services India Limited for a total consideration of ₹55.84 crore, as per the property registration documents.
Prasad Shinde, the Founder of Quest Coworks, said that the company aims to expand its footprint in Mumbai, and more specifically in Andheri, due to their established coworking space in this micro-market. The office space will cater to both managed flexible workspace users and major enterprises looking for dedicated headquarters in a prime Mumbai commercial hub.
Strategically located in Mumbai's Andheri East area, which is one of the city's most sought-after business districts, this purchase highlights Quest Coworks' shift toward owning premium properties rather than just leasing them. By being the landlord, the company can better manage the quality of the workspace and provide better long-term value to their clients.
Capgemini Technology Limited recorded one of the largest real estate transactions in the commercial sector in the MMR by selling Capgemini's Knowledge Park in Airoli, Thane, for ₹550 crore, as per the property registration documents. The company sold the park to Pune-based Panchshil Realty's subsidiary, Prime Lohegaon Infraspaces LLP.
The transaction covers multiple land parcels, which span across 15.38 acres, includes five commercial buildings, utility buildings, a guest house, a training centre, a visitors' plaza and three cafes.
Quest Coworks' ₹55.84 crore acquisition of a 57,500 sq ft space in Andheri's MIDC corridor marks a strategic transition from leasing to asset ownership, strengthening its portfolio in a key commercial hub. This investment aims to meet rising demand for premium, flexible, and managed office solutions, positioning the company for enhanced long-term value for enterprise clients.
