Mumbai's Keystone Realtors Ltd, also known as Rustomjee Group, launched a residential project titled 'Rustomjee Vista Bay' in Sewri, Mumbai, with a revenue potential of ₹900 crore. The strong infrastructure upgrades, and road and metro connectivity, boosts the development's investment potential.
1. GTB Nagar Redevelopment Project
Earlier, Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) and Rustomjee Group's subsidiary, Keymidtown Developers Private Limited, along with the housing societies in Sion Koliwada's (GTB Nagar) Group Redevelopment Project have officially signed a three-way agreement to begin the project. The project's focus is to rehabilitate approximately 1,200 Sindhi families who moved from Pakistan to India post Independence.
2. Redevelopment Project in Andheri
In February, Rustomjee Group had announced the redevelopment of eight housing societies located in Andheri East, Mumbai. With a revenue potential of ₹1,775 crore, the eight housing societies are part of Om Nagar Co-operative Housing Society Federation Limited. The project will deliver new residences to all 637 current members and unlock approximately 5 lakh sq ft of RERA carpet area to the market.
Boman Irani, the Chairman and MD of Rustomjee Group, said that Vista Bay establishes their footprint in Parel Extension just as the area is becoming a popular choice for homebuyers again. The development is designed as an exclusive, gated community to meet the demands of high-end homebuyers, who prefer a luxurious address in South Mumbai along with the perfect balance of modern lifestyle.
Historically, Mumbai's expansion follows major infrastructure projects. The eastern corridor of South Mumbai is entering a similar growth phase as city-wide connectivity continues to advance.
